Christmas Hampers
Would You Like to Get Involved?
Every year, The Besom in Camberley provides more than 150 Christmas hampers to local individuals and families facing hardship across Surrey Heath.
Our hampers are provided through referrals from local organisations including Citizens Advice, Barnardo’s Family Centre, housing associations, The Hope Hub, council departments, Social Services and NHS teams.
Each hamper contains a selection of essential tinned and ambient foods, Christmas treats and a small wrapped gift for each member of the household.
There are several ways you can help us make Christmas special for local families.
Donate Food Items
You can donate tinned and ambient food items for our Christmas hampers. All items must have a best-before date of 28 December 2026 or later.

If you have a larger quantity of items you would like to donate directly to our warehouse, please contact us at camberleybesomhampers@gmail.com to arrange this.
Donate a Christmas Hamper
You can put together a Christmas hamper yourself, with your family, as part of a community group or through your workplace.
Our Christmas Hamper leaflet contains everything you need to know about what to include and how to pack your hamper. For a list of donation points see our website and/or email us at

Please note: all donated hampers must be received by Friday 4 December 2026.
Help Us Pack Hampers
Would you like to volunteer your time?
Come and join our friendly Christmas team in Camberley for a morning or afternoon of packing Christmas hampers. It's a great way to get involved and help make a difference locally.
Please register your interest before the beginning of November 2026, and we'll be in touch with further details.
Make a Financial Donation
A financial donation helps us buy the items we need and make up any shortfall between donated food and the quantities required to complete our hampers.
We provide three different hamper sizes:

Single-person hamper – £25

2–3 person hamper – £40

Family of 4+ hamper – £63
You can donate any amount or choose to cover the cost of a particular hamper size.

Are you a local business looking for a way to support our Christmas Hampers project?
